Colour Trends, Key Pieces & Wardrobe Swaps PART 1 of 3.
Hey, lovely to have you back! Hope your summer was nothing short of restorative and filled with presence, love, and joy. Let’s dive back in and set the tone for your first newsletter since the warmer days.

Top Ten Trend-Forward Hues:
The upcoming season is all about a harmonious blend of deep, expressive hues and soft, romantic shades.
All offering an inviting elegance and approachability. Every season has its stars, and this fall/winter is no exception. The trend colours are the 'spice' they add that ‘wow, she looks current’ factor. The core classics are your pantry staples—the pieces that ground everything and keep your wardrobe working hard for you. Here’s how they balance out this season.
Lemongrass – Bright and energizing, a herbal lift for winter neutrals
Brandied Melon – Warm, nostalgic, and comforting
Lyons Blue – Calm, deep, and quietly confident
Damson – Luxurious, moody plum perfect for evening glamour
Primrose Pink – Delicate, youthful, romantic energy
Winterberry – Bold, vibrant, festive pop of colour
Hot Chocolate – Earthy and grounding; versatile for styling
Chilli Oil – Spicy, confident—ideal for statement pieces
Poppy Red – Lively and expressive; fearless
Bronze Brown – Earthy with metallic richness; refined and grounding

The fashion excitement colours explained
These are the seasonal trend shades—the ones designers push forward on the runway and in editorial spreads. Think of them as “fashion candy”: bolder, moodier, or more unusual colours that instantly signal the new season.
Lemongrass, Brandied Melon, Lyons Blue, Damson, Primrose Pink, Winterberry, Hot Chocolate, Chilli Oil, Poppy Red, Bronze Brown.
Why it matters: These shades are how you sprinkle “newness” into a wardrobe. Or what you may commonly hear me say: adding depth to your wardrobe.
Often I see you doing a) all statement pieces that create that 'newness', or b) all boring & black and basic. Now these ideas are allowing you to create more mix and match, and the usual flair of feeling a bit of wow!

Therefore, a blouse in Lemongrass, a handbag in Chilli Oil, or a Winterberry knit makes someone look instantly current.

Core Classics (the anchors of the wardrobe)
These are the timeless, neutral shades—the grounding colours that balance and support the trend palette. They don’t change much from season to season (taupe, greys, creams, soft whites).
Why it matters: These are the investment colours—coats, trousers, boots—that carry through multiple seasons. They keep the bold hues wearable.
The Difference in Simple Terms:
Trend palette = the spice rack: adds punch and freshness, seasonal update.
Core classics = the pantry basics: what you always rely on, season after season.

Trend Colours (Spice Rack)
Your homework (if you choose to accept it):
Next time you’re out—whether it’s grabbing lunch with a friend, shopping with your daughter, or running around picking things up for everyone else, start noticing the colours around you. Spot the trend hues and the core classics. Imagine how easily they could slip into your wardrobe. And then picture how instantly elevated you’ll look with just one or two smart additions.
These colours are exciting on their own—but the real magic comes when we anchor them with timeless classics. That’s where we’re heading in part two.
Colour Palette Summary
This fall/winter 2025–26 palette is about balance: trend colours bring energy and freshness (think Lemongrass, Winterberry, Chilli Oil), while core classics like taupe, cream, and navy keep your wardrobe timeless and versatile.
